On 10 October, Green Office Wageningen, supported by the Centre for Sustainable Development and Food Security, and the Education and Competencies Studies group of Wageningen University will organise GreenStorming – a seminar to discuss education for sustainability beyond the environmental management mind set. Specifically it will discuss: what competencies and knowledge students need to deal with uncertain situations and complex (environmental) problems as future environmental professionals? How to teach them? And what each of us can do to make Wageningen University move towards education 2.0?

Prof. dr. Arjen Wals (Wageningen) will lead the discussion with contributions of two inspiring key-note speakers: prof. dr. Louise Vet (NIOO-KNAW) and prof. dr. Marco Rieckmann (University of Vechta).

The key-note speeches start at 12:30 in room 1040 in Orion, but if you subscribe to the event you can come for a free lunch at 12:00. After the lunch-break there will be a workshop to start the discussion about what is education for sustainability and how can we implement it?
