Clementina started the EM-SANF programme in 2014 and will graduate in 2016. She followed courses in Aarhus (Dk) and Debrecen (Hu). She just finished her internship and at the moment she is working on her master thesis in Denmark.
I applied for EMSANF after finishing my education on Agronomy Engineer in Uruguay, because the master program fitted my needs. It involves animal nutrition and sustainability, an up to date world topic. Moreover, the program involves living in different European countries, which was a great opportunity for me, coming from South America. Being granted a scholarship from more than 400 applicants made me realize how popular this program is.
I started my studies at Aarhus University (Denmark) in the first semester and my second semester continued at University of Debrecen (Hungary). During my internship I chose involving myself in a Danish company, Danish Crown, working with dry aged beef. It allowed me to know the beef chain through the industry perspective rather than the production side, which I had already studied in the first year of EM-SANF courses. I am currently doing my master thesis at Aarhus University in Foulum, evaluating the effect of different weaning and feeding strategies on beef growth and carcass performance.
After finishing this MSc my expectations are high, as this is a top level program, highly ranked in the study area and involved in an international and professional environment. This broadens the opportunities for the graduates.
During these 2 exciting years, not only the academic part was rewarding. I was also able to make new friends from around the globe and meet inspiring people that will mark my future career.
