Living and learning in Wageningen

For me, the Wageningen spirit is summarized in one sentence that I read during my first weeks there: “Wageningen is a small city where you can find all over the world”. That sentence was written on some cups that the University gave as a welcome present to students some years before my arrival there.

Wageningen means a wealthy experience in the academic, professional and personal sense.

And that is completely true, Wageningen represents a fusion of cultures, languages, customs and idiosyncrasies; thus, it embodies a fusion of lives. This is also represented in the academic Wageningen life. Wageningen is a diversity and combination of disciplines, techniques and professional experiences collected from all over the world due to the exchange of the professional experience of professors and students.

Moreover, the high quality and innovative Wageningen's facilities and education methods combined with the enthusiasm of professors and students make you open your mind and think out of the box.

In short, Wageningen means a wealthy experience in the academic, professional and personal sense.
