"My name is Levine de Zinger and during my Master Plant Biotechnology I did my Master Thesis on plant-based production and evaluation of glycoproteins from Schistosoma mansoni.
It was a very nice experience for me! I learned many techniques in the lab. Also, reading articles and reviews on parasitic infections, glycobiology, the immune system and plant-production platforms was a very interesting combination of scientific study areas. Glycobiology was a tough cookie, but my brains like to chew! Also I enjoyed the time I spend for the thesis rings. During these weekly sessions students give each other feed-back and we learned to do it good and constructive based on several categories. I enjoyed it very much also to get to know more students working on all sorts of nematode related topics."
