We are looking for

A talented postdoc candidate with ample experience in the field of molecular plant-microbe-insect interactions interested in experimental and in silico approaches to stress-induced responses of plants that alter microbiome-plant interactions and the consequences for plant resistance to insect herbivores. The project aims to compare responses of related plant species as well as the underlying mechanisms.
You will be employed at the Laboratory of Entomology in a team working on microbe-plant-insect interactions, while being closely connected to a multidisciplinary team of PhD students, post-docs and principal investigators at 5 academic institutes. You will closely collaborate with two PhD students.
This research project addresses fundamental research to provide a basis for innovative developments in sustainable crop protection based on plant capacities to defend themselves against stresses.
