In dialogue: finding answers together
Many of the issues Wageningen University & Research works on are complex. There is a wide variety of opinions and views on how these global challenges should be addressed. The stakes are sometimes divergent. Entering into dialogues on these issues and sharing insights is essential. This often leads to effective and creative solutions for the challenges we face together. We invite you to join us and others in a dialogue.
Wageningen Dialogues
Dialogue helps to create a better understanding of problems and backgrounds, to determine the right research questions, to mitigate a hardened social debate or to bring stakeholders together for collaborative action. And that is needed, as we face major global issues in the areas of food, energy, health, biodiversity and sustainability. Different viewpoints and perspectives on these issues help to find answers to these challenges. But that’s not as easy as it sounds – and often dilemmas arise.
Omnia: a space for discussion, inspiration and meeting
Omnia is where scientists, students and society meet. Omnia is situated at the entrance of Wageningen Campus in the heart of FoodValley. We are dedicated to facilitating meaningful dialogues about life sciences and the agrifood sector offering a space for in-depth and open conversations with partners, stakeholders, and society. Our venue hosts small to large groups for symposia, conferences, debates, round-table discussions, PhD graduations, workshops, and receptions. You are also welcome to have a drink, lunch or dinner in the unique in-house restaurant Novum.
