Pathogens

Wageningen Bioveterinary Research (WBVR) secures animal and public health through research into veterinary infectious diseases as well as zoonoses. There is broad expertise available on notifiable, zoonotic and endemic pathogens that threaten veterinary and public health. And we have a broad collection of pathogens.

Available animal models

For many of these pathogens, animal models are available that can be supported by extensive knowledge of microbiology, immunology and pathology. The tables below list pathogens for which animal models are available.
