Do you want to know which factors influence a healthy and sustainable food supply? Are you interested in researching food issues from different angles? Are you interested in the bigger picture, particularly in making society more sustainable?
You will learn how food systems influence health by economic, socio-cultural and political factors in the daily living environment. You will study various eating patterns and food systems and the possibilities to make them more sustainable in high as well as in low- and middle-income countries, and on a global level.
You will also learn how this knowledge can be used to develop new strategies and interventions, and which organizations play a key role in the implementation of food transition.
This is a new specialisation. You will find more information in the Study Handbook 2020-2021.
