MaPS - Research
The program Managing Public Space is one of the research focuses of the Landscape Architecture and Spatial Planning group (LSP). LSP operates at the interface of research, design, policy, and societal action. LSP is active within the following four ESG strategic themes: Sustainable Land Use, Metropolitan Solutions, Climate Adaptable Society, and Sustainable Water Management. Managing Public Space adds another perspective to these research themes.
MaPS - Education
In addition to regular Bachelor and Master programs, Wageningen University offers high quality online courses in many fields, such as free online courses (MOOCs).
MaPS - Pilot
Together with the Foundation Managing Public Space, Wageningen University is developing education at Master level. A pilot Managing Public Space will start in 2021. The pilot consists of three courses. Each course is a combination of online and on-campus/on-site learning and includes living labs for learning in real life communities and settings. Students and professionals learn together in the courses.
