Grant support courses and information meetings
- NWO Veni Pre-proposal information workshop organised by WGS, 28 May 2024, 9:00-13:00
Wageningen Graduate schools will organize an information workshop for researchers who are planning to apply for an NWO Veni grant in 2024 that will be carried out at Wageningen University. The VENI application consists of two phases: first submission of the Preproposal (early September 2024) and, if selected, a full proposal (January 2025). The workshop will give insights into the application procedure and evaluation criteria of the pre proposal.
If you are interested in attending the information session, please send an email to wias@wur.nl before 20 May 2024. You will receive an email with information on the location of the workshop one week before. If you have any questions, please contact Nicole Rodenburg at nicole.rodenburg@wur.nl.
VENI applications can be submitted by candidates who have obtained their PhD, irrespective of whether they hold tenured positions and of whether they come from the Netherlands or abroad. Candidates may only submit an application if they have obtained their PhD in the three years preceding the reference date of this round, 1 January 2023, or between 1 January 2023 and 5 September 2023. An extension to the above career-dependent submission period may be possible under specific circumstances.
