Met echte en eerlijke prijzen bouwen aan een duurzaam voedselsysteem

True and Fair Pricing

Wageningen Economic Research investigates how true and fair pricing is established and how it can be used to achieve a sustainable food system.

The prices of food products throughout the entire chain often do not include the costs for people and the environment. Examples are environmental costs, such as CO2 emissions and pressure on biodiversity, and social costs, such as health and working conditions.

True pricing enables consumers to make informed choices and promotes the transition to more sustainable food production and consumption.
