WIAS is looking for post-docs, staff or guest researchers who would like to present their work in 2021. Fourth-year PhD candidates are also welcome to present their work. Interested? Please send an email to wias@wur.nl
WIAS confidential PhD advisors
WIAS has two designated advisors for PhD candidates who wish to consult an impartial member of the community on (personal) issues related to their PhD program. The PhD advisor advises the PhD candidate how to deal with the situation and how to discuss the matter with his/her doctoral thesis supervisor, daily supervisor, or chair holder. If the PhD candidate wishes, the advisor can potentially accompany and assist him/her in talks with their supervisor. The PhD advisor does not make any judgements or decisions regarding the content of the PhD programme. The WIAS PhD advisors are Nicole Rodenburg and Paddy Haripersaud. You can contact them for an appointment (online or in-person).
