General admission requirements
Students who wish to enrol in a MSc programme at Wageningen University must:
- have a BSc degree (or equivalent) in a field of science relevant to the programme selected;
- sufficient academic performance throughout your BSc degree, as shown by an average unweighted mark that meets the required minimum, as determined in the International credentials evaluation guide;
- be fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Specific admission requirements for Geo-information Science
The master's Geo-Information Science brings together knowledge from a wide range of disciplines, for example Environmental Sciences, Social Sciences and Geo-Information Sciences. You have a bachelor's degree in the field of Environmental Sciences (planning, soil and water, hydrology, forest and nature, ecology, biology) or Information Technology. Some basic knowledge of GIS (geo-information systems) and remote sensing is required.

Please complete the application form and submit it with all the required documents. Your application will be reviewed by the Admission Committee, who will base their assessment on your academic record (curriculum, grade point average and final thesis report or research paper) and relevant work experience. You will be informed of the Committee's decision by e-mail.
Are you still in the process of obtaining your bachelor's degree?
If you are currently in the last year of your BSc programme, you can apply for admission prior to your graduation. The Admission Committee can tentatively admit you to the master's based on a transcript of your academic record, the relevant research you have conducted and your expected date of graduation. After graduation, you must submit the certificate prior to the start of the academic year.
