Requirements for admission

General requirements for enrolment in any MSc programme at Wageningen University & Research are:

  1. A BSc degree (or equivalent) in a field of science relevant to your selected programme
  2. Sufficient academic performance throughout your BSc degree, as shown by an average unweighted mark that meets the required minimum, as determined in the International credentials evaluation guide
  3. Fluency in English, both written and spoken

Relevant BSc degrees

Applicants for the MSc programme of Animal Sciences should have a relevant BSc degree in animal sciences, biology, ecology, aquatic/marine sciences, fisheries, or natural/technical sciences related to animals. A Dutch bachelor degree (HBO) related to one of the topics mentioned above is also relevant for admission to the MSc programme of Animal Sciences.

Application and Deadlines

A scholarship may help you cover (part of) the costs of your study. It is important to be aware of the different options for scholarships, and of the deadlines. Often, scholarships programmes require a letter of admission, and therefore your application for the MSc programme at Wageningen University should be completed at least six weeks before the deadline of the scholarship programme.
