Courses

The recommended sequence for the courses in 2012-2014 is given below. Periods are blocks of 8 weeks (period 1, 2, 5, 6) or 4 weeks (period 3, 4). Some of the courses are given 2 or more times a year. For instance the introductory course Introduction Geo-information Science can be followed in period 1, (mornings), period 2 (mornings or afternoons), period 3 and 4 (whole days).

* RO is restricted optional

In consultation with the study adviser you should select the following:

  • Choose 0-2 courses from RO0, if these competences are not present according to the study adviser;

  • Choose 2 courses from RO1;

  • Choose preferentially at least 1 course in the field of Geo-ICT, Natural or Social Sciences from RO2 or another relevant Geo-Information course at WU or another university in consultation with your study adviser;

  • Choose 1 course from RO3 in consultation with your study adviser.

It is not allowed to choose courses that already were part of one's BSc programme at WU.
