Case Study Guadalhorce

LAPSUS Application

The effects of scale (temporal and spatial resolution and extent), parent materials and land use on erosion and sedimentation is modelled with the dynamic landscape evolution model LAPSUS. For this project the LAPSUS model was originally designed and tested and further adapted for the different environments and land use scenarios. In the simulations for these applications the model runs will have durations of 10 to 25 years with 1 year time steps.
