Cliffs of Moher

Luckily, I have the weekend to explore beautiful Ireland and act as a crazy tourist. One of the first beauties to explore are the Cliffs of Moher. These are also amongst the top visited tourist sites in Ireland, so I was allowed to take photos all the time. ;)

The cliffs were in one word: breathtaking! The Cliffs of Moher are located at the south-western edge of Ireland (FYI: Cork is located at the eastern part). The maximum height of the cliffs are 214 metre, I can tell from own experience that you feel just a small human being compared to the massive cliffs. Because the wind was so strong, they were planning on closing down the cliffs, but (lucky us), we were able to get in and enjoy the brilliant view over the Atlantic Ocean. Besides that, no one got blown away or fell off the cliffs - only my phone learned how to fly, unfortunately.

Actually, the crazy weather made the Cliffs of Moher even more breathtaking. If you ever happen to be in Ireland, I suggest you to do super touristy activities and check out the Cliffs of Moher as well!
