Stawamus Chief Mountain

This is the amazing view from the Stawamus Chief Mountain, near Vancouver. Together with our Canadian friends, we did a six-hour hike on Remembrance Day.

Since Remembrance day (November 11th)is a National Memorial day for the Canadian armed forces who have died in the line of duty, every Canadian has a day-off.  Everything is closed on this day, and so we went outdoors. It was a pretty exhausting hike, but the views from the top were breathtaking! We have never seen such gorgeous sceneries, and we keep saying that after every hike.  Canada is just beautiful, and keeps surprising us. It was also pretty cold, especially on the top of the mountain where it felt like -5 degrees. But that didn’t bother us, and we hiked the entire trail. I wish I could show you all the beautiful pictures we made!
