DLO OnderzoekerAfter finishing my bachelor degree in Environmental Geosciences at the university of Bristol (UK) I continued my masters, specialising in soil biology and soil chemistry at Wageningen University (NL). I continued my work in soil science during my PhD research at the Wageningen university in the Soil Biology chairgroup. My PhD research involved the soil N cycle and the soil C cycle. Specifically I studied the effect of cover crop mixtures on soil N availability, nitrate leaching and soil C sequestration. After defending my thesis I started working at Wageningen Environmental Research in the team "sustainable soil management" as researcher soil and climate. During my current work I focus mostly on agricultural soils and N2O emissions as well as soil C sequestrationl.
