Teacher

My curiosity for the world around me has driven me to obtain a bachelor in Human and Animal Health Biology at the WUR. Although I’ve always had a passion for marine biology, my master studies ultimately focused on medical biology. In addition, I specialized in education, communication and knowledge transfer within my bachelor as well as my master program. To my own surprise, science appealed much more to me from these perspectives compared to that of a researcher. After some hands-on experience as a project coordinator in two commercial companies, I’m very happy with my position at the Wageningen University. Especially working at the Aquaculture and Fisheries department excites me, as my passion for the underwater life never died. In my role as teacher, all aspects fit together. Working on the crossing between science and education with fish as the main at this point I don’t know what else I could ask for!
