As faculty liaison for the Animal Sciences Group, I am the primary contact person for a.o. information literacy, literature searches and collection management in the field of Animal Sciences, including Aquaculture and Fisheries.
I work at the Library in the Education Support team, and focus mainly on teaching information literacy to students and PhD candidates. This also includes developing courses and e-learning modules, and a learning trajectory for information literacy. In addition, I give individual support in building (systematic) search queries and creating publication and subject alerts.
Before working at the Library, I was assistant professor at the Ethology group (now the Behavioural Ecology group) of the Department of Animal Sciences of Wageningen University, and a researcher in archaeozoology at the Biological-Archaeological Institute (now Groningen Institute of Archaeology) of the University of Groningen.
