In the Big T&U PPP, research is being carried out into the possibilities for developing a joint IT infrastructure (HortiCube), governance and a business model for collecting and integrating market data from a wide variety of sources and social media.

The PPS Market Intelligence Nutrition Horticulture 2.0 builds on the basis laid in Market Intelligence Horticulture 2.0. The dashboard will be extended to a portal on which data, results and MI tools can be found. The purpose of this PPP is to enable companies, chains and sectors to improve their decision-making in the short, medium and long term on the basis of relevance. The emphasis is on the development of tools for and with the food horticulture chain.

The most important tools are the Food Profiler App, which measures near-time consumption behavior, the Global Detector, with which geographic maps based on multiple indicators can be used to identify future production and sales areas and forecasting tools, with which the effect of interventions can be identified. the market can be predicted. By using these tools, the business community is able to strengthen and expand the unique competitive position of the Netherlands in the world.
