Docent

2018

Currently, I am a lecturer at the University of Wageningen in the Behavioral Ecology Department and a guest Researcher at the Netherlands Institute of Ecology in the Animal Ecology Department in the van Oers-Group.

Research Interests

I have a broad interest in evolutionary biology, ecology, and animal behavior. Particularly, the fight for survival in predator vs. prey interactions has always fascinated me. The numerous strategies used by animals to avoid predation has captured my curiosity. I have dedicated my research to understanding how some of these strategies have evolved and the ecological aspects that underlie those behaviors.

Science Divulgation

Science needs to be communicated beyond the scientific community. Scientific papers are very important, but they are not made to reach a broader public. I have a great interest in science divulgation/communication.
