I work as a PhD-candidate at Education & Learning Sciences and Consumption & Healthy Lifestyle. My research is part of the interdisciplinary SWITCH-project, in which we aim to combine the fields of education sciences, public health, nutrition and behavioural sciences. I am interested in how healthy and sustainable nutrition can be encouraged from a young age, in order to improve quality of life for all. My PhD research aims to understand how adolescents can be stimulated to adopt healthier and more sustainable diets, by means of the secondary school context. My research has a strong link to practice, collaborating with various organisations, schools and adolescents.

My educational background is in Public Health. I completed my bachelor in Liberal Arts & Sciences (Major: Public Health) at Erasmus University College and my master in Nutrition & Health (Specialisation: Epidemiology & Public Health) at Wageningen University & Research.
