Peiheng Wang came to the Netherlands in 2017 and studied Food Technology (MSc) with a specialization in Dairy Science and Technology at WUR. After graduation, he worked for one and a half years at FrieslandCampina in the area of infant nutrition. He decided to go back to WUR and started a PhD in 2021.
His PhD project focuses on the development of a filter paper-based human milk sampling technique. He will also collaborate with an observational human milk study running at the division of Human Nutrition and Health (WUR) to valid this innovative sampling method meanwhile gaining knowledge to link maternal diet and infant health with human milk composition.
