My work focuses on biodiversity conservation and ecosystem service delivery in agroecosystems, with a specific focus on flower-visiting insects and pollination services. I study how environmental pressures, such as land use change and agricultural intensification, drive loss of biodiversity and associated delivery of ecosystem services in agricultural landscapes. I am mainly interested in how the impacts of these drivers can be mitigated by implementation of agri-environmental management practices, and whether and to what extent these practices can simultaneously deliver ecological, agronomic and economic benefits to farmers and society.
