dr. PWJJ (Paul) van der Wielen
Guest researcherPaul van der Wielen works since 2014 as principal microbiologist at KWR Water Research Institute in Nieuwegein, which is the research institute of the drinking water companies in the Netherlands. He is a microbial ecologist and his research focuses on microbial activity in man-made water systems, with as goal to maintain or enhance the microbial water quality in these water systems. Since 2016, he also works one day a week as guest researcher at the Molecular Ecology group within the Laboratory of Microbiology at the Wageningen Univiersity & Research
