Dr. Jeroen Wijsman is a specialist researcher and advisor shellfish and shellfish aquaculture. After his MSc degree biology in Wageningen got his PhD in 2001 at Groningen University with his thesis entitled "Early diagenetic processes in northwestern Black Sea sediments". From 2000 to 2005 he worked as advisor marine ecology at Delft | Hydraulics (Deltares) where he used various models to study the impact of human activities on nature. Since 2005 Jeroen works as a specialist in shellfish aquaculture at Wageningen Marine Research in Yerseke.
