Integrated analyis of broiler production systems

The overall-objective of this PhD research was to provide an integrated analysis of sustainable broiler production systems. This overall-objective was decomposed into the following four sub-objectives. First, an analysis of the implementation of multiple standards in the broiler chain was provided. Second, the synergies and trade-offs between externalities in broiler production systems were analyzed. Third, an exploration of sustainable broiler production systems that minimize externalities was provided. Fourth, farmers' preferences for particulate matter abatement techniques were elicited.
