I am a PhD Candidate in the Development Economics group. My research focuses on the links between smallholders and SME agribusinesses, incentives and behavior, and development outcomes. An understanding of the incentives and mechanisms through which these incentives influence behavior and development outcomes are important for policy formulation and the design of win-win strategies for smallholders and SME agribusinesses.
My research is based on ‘Climate Resilient Agribusinesses for Tomorrow (CRAFT)’ program implemented by SNV in partnership with Wageningen University & Research and other partners in Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania.
