After my studies International Development at Wageningen University I joined the Dutch Army as an officer. I served as a airborne infantry platoon commander, liaison officer, public affairs officer, information operations officer and chief of a brigade's staff support cell. I was regularly deployed abroad in Europe and Africa and did two extended deployments in Afghanistan and Mali.

In 2015 I started working part time for the Ministry of Defense and became a business administration and skills teacher at University of Applied Sciences Utrecht. In 2019 I also joined the Education and Learning Sciences team at Wageningen University as a Professional Skills lecturer and course coordinator. I work parttime as military advisor for the Dutch army and run a business in sustainability, training and construction.

I am punctual and pro-active. You might also find me very direct. Skip the formalities and the small talk. You work hard for me, I work hard for you.
