My project explores the use of mental modelling and layering of emotional investment in a small river catchment in SW England which is currently home to an important beaver, Castor fiber reintroduction trial, the first free-living beaver population in England for at least 250 years. The objective is to improve understanding of ecological change through the lens of human perception.
