Y (Yifei) Zhou MSc

Yifei is currently an aio-PhD at the Laboratory of Organic Chemistry of WUR. His PhD research on Ruthenium(0)-based organometallics and catalysis started in October 2020 under the supervision from Prof. Han Zuilhof and Dr. Fedor Miloserdov .
Yifei received his BSc degree from Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech, Shenzhen) in 2016 and then worked in Prof. Yanqing Tian's lab as a research assistant. In 2018, he was enrolled by the Joint Master Program of SUSTech & HIT under Prof. Chuang-chuang Li's supervision. In 2020, he obtained his MSc degree from Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) and moved to Wageningen to pursue his PhD training.
Yifei's main research interests are ruthenium organometallic complexes and the related asymmetric catalysis. He has a good command of organic/inorganic synthesis in air-free environment as well as in fumehood.
