In 2020-2024, Gert Jan leads the project SESAM: Scenario Evaluation for Sustainable Agro-forestry Management, with many partners across WUR and across the world.
Gert Jan is involved in various partnered PhD projects as the "Artificial Sociality" supervisor. This is at Wageningen University as well as North-West University, South Africa.
