Weekend break
My internship period in Valencia has almost come to an end, only a few weeks are left! Therefore my mother decided to take the opportunity to have a small holiday by visiting me again. This was very convenient for me as well, since due to the sales and my trip to Morocco, I have a lot more luggage to bring back home than I planned!
This was the second time my mother came to visit me, and therefore she wanted to see a bit more of the area around Valencia as well. We decided to rent a car and travel through the landscape which brought us to Jávea, which is a beautiful little city at the Costa Blanca with an amazing beach. We continued our journey towards the south to discover the little village Moraira which is known for its fishery. On our way back to Valencia we drove through the mountains on small, curved roads and we discovered many more little villages. One of them was a small village with a castle on top of a hill, which gave us an amazing view! This little weekend break gave me the feeling of having a small holiday by escaping the city and enjoying the nature and the beautiful Spanish landscape.
Overall it was a very nice weekend which gave me new energy to finish the project that I work on in the lab, to successfully finish my internship!
