Prayer flags

These are prayer flags tied on a bridge in Paro. These colourful strips of cloths make the landscape very vibrant and cheerful.

These prayers often contain wishes and prayers for a healthy and successful life, hoping that one will pass their exams or finding happiness. I have seen these prayer flags hanging throughout the country. They can be seen hanging across rivers, waterfalls, in between trees and across houses.
