The Land Use Database of the Netherlands (LGN database) series

Wageningen Environmental Research (WENR) has been producing the National Land Use database (LGN) every 3 to 5 years since 1986. Since 2018, it is producing LGN at a yearly interval (LGN2018, LGN2019 and LGN2020). Ten versions have been created since 1986, forming a unique time series. The series of databases enables spatial changes in land use to be monitored. The Land Use Database is the most detailed national land use database in the Netherlands and has proved its worth many times over.
