The GERMINATOR package is a simple, highly cost-efficient and flexible procedure for high-throughput automatic scoring and evaluation of germination that can be implemented without the use of complex robotics.
To analyse rhythmic leaf growth movement in plants under physiological conditions we have developed the OSCILLATOR package. Based on infrared timelapse imaging, leaf tip tracking growth curves can be made and the phase, period and amplitude of leaf growth oscillations can subsequently be extracted.
We study how the spectral composition of light impacts plant development, growth and stress resilience. For this we use a specialized growth cabinet in which we can tightly and extensively control the light quality and quantity.
