Finding patents
A patent is the exclusive right for a period of time to exclude others from making, using, or selling an invention. Patents are part of Intellectual Property. Intellectual property refers to creations of the intellect, such as inventions, literary and artistic works, and designs.
Literature alerts
By using literature alerts, you can get new content pushed to you as soon as it becomes available. This helps you to stay up to date on specific topics in your field. Staff and students of WUR can run alerts free of charge on most databases offered by the Library. You can also set up alerts through journals and search engines.
Finding research data
You might want to use existing data for your research to do a meta-analysis, to re-evaluate findings, to perform new analyses on existing data, or to validate a model. This page explains how you can search for research data.
