Thesis projects at Laboratory of Phytopathology

Phytopathology offers a range of thesis projects, mostly within an ongoing project of a PhD students or postdoc, who act as daily supervisors. The projects involve a range of microorganisms or plant species, and they address very diverse research questions.

The methods used in projects range from plant infection assays to cell biology, biochemistry, molecular biology and genetics, fluorescence microscopy, or computational analyses.

A thesis consists of writing a research plan, performing experiments as well as recording, analysing and reporting the data. The thesis project is finalised with a report (MSc thesis) and a presentation (colloquium).
