Background

This symposium will offer a multispectral perspective on allergens with focus on three key areas:

  • Enforcement
  • Analytical Detection Methods

All presentations will be given in English.

Posters

A poster session is organised. If you are interested please submit your abstract no later than 1st of October 2025.

Rules of poster submission

  1. Submission deadline for poster presentations: 1st of October 2025.
  2. Abstracts must be sent to: allergenensymposium2025.wfsr@wur.nl.
  3. Abstracts must be submitted in Microsoft Word and shall not exceed 400 words.
  4. The title of the abstract should clearly define the work presented.
  5. The Scientific Committee will determine whether the abstract is accepted for a poster presentation. Presenting authors must be registered and their payment made.
  6. Poster size: A0 portrait (84 x 119 cm).
  7. Appropriate means of affixing the poster will be supplied on site.
  8. Posters will be displayed during coffee beak and lunch time.
  9. There will be no book of abstracts.
  10. Language for abstract and poster: English.

Participants will be informed by 14th October 2025 at the latest whether their abstract has been accepted for a poster.

Registration

Registration fee: 250 € excl. VAT.

We would like to ask you to register no later than 10 November 2025. After this date, the registration link will be closed and no changes are possible anymore. For privacy see disclaimer.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation fee before 1 October 2025: 75€.
Cancellation fee after 1 October: No refund.

Breaks and lunch

The morning-, afternoon breaks and lunches are included in the registration fee.

Accommodation

The meeting will be held in Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant De Wageningsche Berg. Part of the accommodation is reserved for attendees of the conference, until October 20th, 2025. Travel

Wageningen is easy to reach by public transport from Schiphol airport.

Take the train from Schiphol airport to railway station Ede-Wageningen (direct train, 1 hour). There you can take either a bus or taxi to the hotel.

For details about your journey, please check the public transport site OV9292.

Wageningen is also easy to reach from Germany and Belgium when travelling by car. The hotel has plenty of space to park your car.

Press

The press will be present during the symposium. Participants from press, please contact the organisers on forehand as registration is required.
