Annual conference strategic alliance EWUU

The major societal challenges of our time, from climate instability and biodiversity loss to health disparities, resource scarcity and growing insecurity, are complex and cannot be solved by one discipline or sector alone. They require new forms of collaboration: not only across academic fields, but with citizens, institutions and companies that shape society every day.

The EWUU alliance is taking that step. We are moving from interdisciplinary collaboration towards transdisciplinary action: developing and sharing knowledge in society, with society to co-shape system change - driving the transitions towards a circular society and to prevention-oriented, resilient health systems.  

We invite pioneers and doubters, thinkers and doers to join us and to co-think, co-learn and co-design. Save the date and help co-create a future that matters!

The motto of the strategic alliance between Eindhoven University of Technology, Wageningen University & Research, Utrecht University and University Medical Centre Utrecht is Challenging Future Generations. We strive to do that by putting young researchers, lecturers and students at the helm and by collaborating across the borders of the scientific disciplines. In the alliance, the four institutions combine their expertise in order to contribute to social transitions in the fields of health, food, energy, and sustainability.
