You will gain insight into soil science, hydrology, and atmospheric dynamics, learning to understand the Earth as one interconnected system.

Hydrolab tour

Experience the dynamics of rivers in the Hydrolab, where simulations and hydrological experiments reveal how water flows.

Soil Museum tour

 Travel through soils from around the world at the World Soil Museum and discover their role in our environment.

Saturday: Mini college

Our staff members will give a preview of how second-year students develop a plan for better land and water management for the Rau River Catchment, on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania. We will delve into the current challenges in the area and how these could be resolved; and we will pay attention to the context for such a plan, the role of international experts in developing them, the required professional knowledge and the necessary skills set. How would you tackle such a challenge?
