In short

Activity
  • 10 September 2026
  • 9.00 - 15.30
  • Wageningen Campus - Omnia building
  • Recent developments in AI, sensors, and robotic setups in agri-food tech

Are you interested in the latest developments in the use of AI, sensors, and robotic systems in agri-food tech? And/or do you want to know the importance of AI and robotisation for the global food supply and nature conservation? Visit the Vision + Robotics Track 2026 on September 10 at the Wageningen University & Research campus.

During this event, up to 150 participants will be given a tour on campus. Visitors will walk past various sensor labs and robotic setups arranged across eight themed stations. Each station focuses on a specific area of interest.

This is the fourth time this biennial event has been organised, specifically for the agri-foodtech sector and end-users. The goal is to bring everyone up to speed on the latest developments in agri-food tech. “Previous editions filled up very quickly,” says program manager Erik Pekkeriet. “So if you’re interested in where we currently stand in agri-food tech, be quick to sign up. We’re currently working hard on the program, and this edition promises to be a great one as well. Among other things, we’ll be discussing the importance of AI and robotisation for the global food supply and nature conservation. And, above all, we’ll be showcasing a lot.”
