Three-dimensional genomic data interpretation and transcriptional regulatory element identification

PhD defence
In short- 21 October 2026
- 10.30 - 12.00 h
- Auditorium Omnia, building 105, Wageningen Campus
- Livestream available
Summary
Our DNA is a very long molecule that has to fold up tightly to fit inside our cells. In my PhD, I study how DNA folds into 3D shapes, and I look for the parts of DNA that actually do important jobs. Understanding this helps us figure out how our genes are switched on and off, and what goes wrong in diseases.
