Are you a WUR, NIOO-KNAW or UNLOCK researcher working on microbiomes? Join the Kickoff Symposium of the Wageningen Microbiome Center (WMC) on September 24st!

Wageningen Microbiome Center (WMC) is a collaboration between Wageningen University & Research, UNLOCK and Netherlands Institute of Ecology (NIOO-KNAW). WMC aims to promote microbiome-related research activities by facilitating and fostering interactions across science groups, sharing expertise and infrastructures.

To kickstart this community, we are organising an internal symposium. The aim is to bring together researchers from Wageningen University, Wageningen Research, UNLOCK and NIOO-KNAW of all career stages that are interested in microbiome research.

Programme at-a-glance

The symposium will take place in Omnia, on 24 September (9:45 – 16:30). Preview of the programme:

  • Keynote talks by Dr. Noora Ottman (DTU National Food Institute, Denmark) and Prof. Paul Ross (APC Microbiome, Ireland);
  • Pitches of WMC groups;
  • Mapping the Wageningen Microbiome Landscape;
  • Parallel activities to dive deeper into microbiome science.

Registration

Registration is free and microbiome researchers of all career stages are warmly encouraged to participate.
