Education of Behavioural Ecology

Education by the Behavioural Ecology Group covers the whole field of animal behaviour, including basic behavioural mechanisms, behavioural ecology, applied animal behaviour, animal welfare and life history decisions. Our courses are directed towards both Biology and Animal Science students.

BHE Tinbergen Thesis prize

Prize

Every year the BHE Tinbergen Thesis prize is awarded. MSc thesis students are eligible when they have a 8 or higher on their thesis. All these theses are read and judged by the committee. The evaluation is based on among other aspects, the quality of abstract, conceptualization, experimental design, figures and embedding in scientific literature. The committee selects a winner and runner-ups.
