Education of Environmental Technology

The Chairgroup Environmental Technology offers an education programme that is focused on sustainable technological and urban systems solutions for local and global environmental challenges. Our approach is to combine several disciplines to achieve innovations for environmental solutions.
Relevant research disciplines are a.o. biotechnology, chemical technology, microbiology, surface chemistry, organic chemistry, mass flow analysis and modelling,. We also consider the social impact of our work to be very relevant and therefore we co-operate with other University groups, such as Public Administration, Environmental Policy, Environmental Economy and Management Studies.
Thesis
Environmental Technology offers thesis tracks for various Bachelor and Master programs including the Bachelor Environmental Sciences, Master Urban Environmental Management, Master Environmental Sciences and the Master Biotechnology. Students that are interested to do a bachelor or master thesis or a research practice at our chairgroup, can choose from an extensive list of projects. To find a topic of interest please see our our dedicated Brightspace page (only available for WUR students and employees) or:
Internship
Internship positions for students conducting their Master programme in Urban Environmental Management or Environmental Sciences can be found at the ETE Internships Brightspace site (only available for WUR students and employees). There you can discover and self-enroll at MSc Internships Environmental Technology. This is strongly advised for all students. All information about internships is provided through Brightspace.
