Payment of the tuition fee is one of the enrolment conditions. On this page you can find information on the amount of tuition fees you have to pay. How you would like to pay can be indicated via Studielink.
Are you a European student*?
Your tuition fee for the academic year 2022-2023 is €2209. Are you a first year bachelor's student and you have not previously been enrolled in a degree’s programme at a university financed by the Dutch government, then your tuition fee is only €1105.
Your tuition fee for the academic year 2023-2024 is €2314. Are you a first year bachelor's student and you have not previously been enrolled in a degree’s programme at a university financed by the Dutch government, then your tuition fee is only €1157.
*Students with a nationality from NL/EEA/SME¹ countries are considered European students.
Are you a non-EU student**?
Your tuition fee for the academic year 2022-2023 is €15.700.
Your tuition fee for the academic year 2023-2024 is €16.400.
**Students with a nationality other than from NL/EEA/SME¹ countries are considered NON-EU students.

Exceptions
Are you studying a second bachelor's programme?
The amount of tuition fee 2022-2023 for a second bachelor's programme is €12.500 for NL/EEA/SME1 students (institutional tuition fee 2). Non-NL/EEA/SME1 students pay institutional tuition fee 3 for a second bachelor's (€15.700).
Note: if your enrolment for the first bachelor's or master's overlap with your second bachelor's or master's for at least one month (or more), you do not need to pay the institutional tuition fee 2. Then either the statutory fee or institutional tuition fee 3 applies to you.
