What is the Holland Scholarship?
The Holland Scholarship is co-financed by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science and Dutch research universities and universities of applied sciences. The scholarship is meant for international students from one of the selected countries outside the European Economic Areas (EEA) who wish to pursue a bachelor's or master’s degree in Holland.

Components of the Scholarschip
If you are selected as a beneficiary of the Holland Scholarship you will receive a one-time payment of € 5.000 in the first year of your studies. The selection committee has the option to grant a double scholarship of € 10.000 or a triple scholarship of € 15.000.
It is not possible to deduct the granted amount from your tuition fee invoice. The Holland Scholarship is not a full scholarship. The costs of living, visa and insurance are not covered by this scholarship.
Requirements
1. You are an excellent applicant from Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, India, Indonesia, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, South Africa, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States or Vietnam.
2. You have (un-)conditional admission to one of our on campus MSc programmes.
3. You did not participate in a degree programme in the Netherlands before.
* Students with a double nationality (EU and Non-EEA nationality) must contact the Student Service Centre to check whether they are eligible for a scholarship.

Note
The Holland Scholarships is financially supported by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science and is administrated by Nuffic. As part of the scholarship programme the university is obliged to share the following details with both parties:
Awardees: Complete name, gender, date of birth, nationality, country of prior education, email address of awardee, name of university and programme for which the scholarship has been awarded.
Rejected candidates: Nationality, name of university and programme for which the applicant applied.
